Music site Consequence Of Sound recently brought to our attention the Record Deck, a fully mobile record store that’s set up on a narrowboat.  

According to COS, “It sails around from dock to dock, moving its collection of vintage vinyl (like a hipster pirate, arrrgh). Even with the limited floor space, the ship has a fairly decent stock, offering everything from Nirvana and Leonard Cohen to Miles Davis and Al Green.”

The U.K. ship mainly travels in the waters of Hackney, but it has also gone as far as Birmingham and Cosgrove. The shop’s owners maintain a blog, documenting the ship’s journey and stops.  You can check out some of its stops below:
