Chiodos-Jan2014

Thomas Erak exits Chiodos in order to focus on the Fall Of Troy

Chiodos guitarist Thomas Erak has revealed via his personal Twitter account that he has parted ways with the band in order to focus on the Fall Of Troy's highly anticipated new album and his home life. Despite the seemingly sudden departure, Chiodos have already acquired a replacement and will not be canceling any of their upcoming co-headlining dates with We Came As Romans. Check out Erak's tweets below and let us know your thoughts.

Erak initially joined Chiodos in January of 2013 after the group's former guitarist Jason Hale had left in November. He performed on the band's latest studio album, Devil, which was released earlier this year via Razor & Tie Records.

Chiodos recently went through other lineup instabilities in September when members Derrick Frost and Matt Goddard decided to leave the band. (This was Frost’s second departure.) They were replaced by Thomas Pridgen (the Mars Volta) on drums and Joe Troy (RX Bandits) on bass.
