Though Billboard had reported yesterday that the service was back online, attempting to access the site still leads to a 502 error that the service is currently down.

Ticketfly’s “backstage” database (the collection of personal contact information and confidential planning details for many of the venues, festivals and promoters who use Ticketfly for their events) was targeted by a hacker on May 31.

Employees have been working tirelessly to minimize the intrusion, and reportedly had the site back up yesterday morning after launching an investigation into the attack.

“In consultation with leading third-party forensic and cybersecurity experts, we are in the process of bringing the Ticketfly ticketing system back online with the security of our clients and fans top of mind,” a Ticketfly spokesperson told Billboard.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of support our community has shown us while we continue to work through this cyber incident.”

After the site is finally back online, customers can still “expect there will be some technical issues with certain functionality typical to bringing these types of operations back online.”
