We’ll start with a brief synopsis of the Tiger King Joe Exotic. Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (Joe Exotic) is an incarcerated former zoo operator and self-professed most prolific tiger breeder in the U.S.

He ran an exotic animal park in Oklahoma and twice unsuccessfully ran for public office in 2016 and 2018. The documentary series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness focuses on the feud between Joe and animal rights activist Carole Baskin. It also involves a lot of issues relating to a murder for hire plot as well as the disappearance of Baskin’s husband who went missing in 1997.

Joe Exotic is currently serving a 22-year sentence for violating the Endangered Species Act. Also for falsifying records and the murder-for-hire scheme targeting Baskin.

According to VarietyExotic was incarcerated at the Grady County Jail in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Then, the New York Post pointed out that inmate records showed that the Tiger King was transferred to the FWFMC. The Post recently asked for comment from a Grady County worker. The staff replied “He is no longer here at this facility,” followed by stating the facility had “no comment.”

Joe Exotic’s fourth husband, Dillon Passage, recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show and provided further details.

“We speak three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases,” Passage relayed. “I’ve yet to speak to him since he moved.” Dillon followed it by saying he does not belove that the Tiger King has the virus.

The men behind the music are Vince Johnson and vocalist Danny Clinton, who make up The Clinton Johnson Band. Sadly, Danny Clinton recently passed away. Both names appear in the credits, but Joe Exotic refused to let anyone outside of his circle know the truth.

Rick Kirkham, appeared on Tiger King as a producer shooting a reality show about Joe Exotic. Viewers know how that went. Kirkham told Vanity Fair about the closely guarded secret though.

“It was absolutely ridiculous,” Kirkham said. “One time Joe got a little bit drunk and high, and we actually coaxed him into singing part of one of the songs. He couldn’t even hold a tune. It was just so ludicrous. It was a big joke within the crew and staff that it wasn’t him [singing]—but he was damned insistent to anyone and everyone, including us and my studio crew, that that was him.”

Now, metalcore crew Everyone Dies in Utah are offering up a cover of “Here Kitty Kitty” which focuses on Carole Baskin—Exotic’s nemesis of Big Cat Rescue.
