After the film’s trailer pretty much made us cry our eyes out, we’ve been anxiously awaiting this Tim Burton twist that seems like it will be a bit darker than the original.

Now, director Tim Burton has taken to Disneyland to surprise guests and give them another sneak peek at the upcoming live-action reboot!

In Dumbo, Danny DeVito plays the circus owner who recruits Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) to care for a newborn elephant with large ears. The circus starts using the elephant to make money after it demonstrates its ability to fly. DeVito and Farrell will be joined by other big-name actors such as Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Alan Arkin.

Disney is also sharing the film’s synopsis, which you can read in full below:

Circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Yesterday, March 9, Tim Burton visited Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Fantasyland at Disneyland to surprise guests in the best way.

Burton introduced another sneak peek of the film at the Main Street Opera House in Town Square while signing autographs for some very excited guests.

Guests of Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line will treat guests to some special scenes of the film for a limited time.

You can check out a new clip from the movie, below!

Dumbo will hit theaters March 29, 2019.
