Tina Fey, Amy Poehler to host the Golden Globes

Move over Ricky Gervais: the ladies are taking over. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced today that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the 70th Golden Globes. The Saturday Night Live alums and comedy darlings are taking the reins from the sometimes-loved and often-controversial Ricky Gervais who hosted the award show for the past two years.  

Although Gervais definitely had his funny moments (and awkward ones), it's no surprise that the internet is buzzing with excitement and anticipation at the news of Poehler and Fey. (Is there anyone in America who doesn't love this duo?) To find out how these two do as hosts, tune in to the Golden Globes Sunday, January 13th on NBC.
