Tom DeLonge embraces blink-182 meme with lip sync restaurant selfie

Not only did Tom DeLonge tease us with the possibility of a full blink-182 reunion in the future, but now he’s even singing along to throwback to make us lose our minds.

The Angels & Airwaves frontman took to Instagram to show off his lip-syncing skills and poke fun at his own pronunciation.

More blink-182 news

As previously stated, fans went nuts after DeLonge admitted he had loose plans to rejoin in the future. The rumors were fueled even more after fans found out he had followed both Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker on Instagram.

Then, in an interview with 91X San Diego, DeLonge addressed the idea of rejoining blink even further stating that he was recently in talks with Hoppus on “what makes sense and when.”

While blink fans have been sent into a frenzy over the possible reunion, it looks like it won’t be happening anytime in the near future as Hoppus claims it all to be a “completely unfounded rumor at this point.”

During an interview with Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM, Hoppus was asked about the rumors of a full blink reunion with all original members.

“There is not any talk of that right now. I mean, I’ll never say never to anything, but that is a completely unfounded rumor at this point.”

Fans have also been eagerly awaiting for any news regarding the band’s forthcoming announcement, which had been rumored to be released before the Atlantic City Warped Tour date.

That rumor was quickly squashed after Hoppus replied to a fan who asked if the blink album was still slated for a June release with a simple “no, sir.”

Fortunately, it looks like we’re slowly closing in on a release date.

“There is not an exact date,” Hoppus tells KROQ. “It is coming out this summer. I was just on the phone earlier today with Ron Perry, who’s the head of our label, and we are figuring out the exact launch date. But we are finalizing mixes right now, we have about half the album mastered, and the announce on when the album will be released will be forthcoming.”
