Tom DeLonge producing UFO series for History Channel

Former blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge is appearing in and executive producing a new series for the History Channel called Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation.

DeLonge is planning to “expose new evidence on UFOs” as part of the six-part series, in which he will interview Special Agent Luis Elizondo, the leader of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). This was an investigation revealed back in 2017 by the New York Times that allegedly looked into extraterrestrial attacks against the Earth.

“With this show, the real conversation can finally begin,” said DeLonge. “I’m thankful to History for giving the To The Stars Academy team of world-class scientists, engineers and intelligence experts the opportunity to tell the story in a comprehensive and compelling way.”

“I think everyone that watches the show will walk away with questions answered and a feeling of, “wow, I get it now.”” he continued.

DeLonge founded the To The Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences, so he’s heavily vested in this type of investigation. To The Stars is an organization dedicated to studying potential alien life forms out there in the inky black of space. Elizondo was brought on board in 2017, after he left the government and began cooperating with the New York Times on its story about the AATIP.

DeLonge has done extensive work with the program since leaving blink-182 nearly four years ago. It remains to be seen what the future will be like for To The Stars in the future, but at least it looks like Tom is continuing to follow his passion.

As far as the UFO show here, it’s still in its early stages and no release date has been planned.
