Tom DeLonge discussed his blink-182 return with Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker

On May 15, blink-182 fans were sent into a frenzy after Tom DeLonge admitted that he had loose plans to rejoin the band in the future.

In an interview with Kerrang!, DeLonge addressed fans’ hopeful wishes of him eventually returning to the blink-182 lineup. However, DeLonge then goes on to say that he has a lot on his plate, noting that he wants to focus on his other aforementioned projects.

“I get it—trust me, I love blink and it’s given me everything in my life,” DeLonge told Kerrang!. “And, you know, I plan on doing it in the future. But right now there’s just no way—I have way too much going on because Angels & Airwaves is a part of To The Stars, and that’s why it works.”

The rumors were fueled even more after fans found out that DeLonge had followed both Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker on Instagram.

The follows come after Hoppus was dared to comment on DeLonge’s recent Instagram post, “I love you, and always will,” in a Twitter Q&A.

Now, in an interview with 91X San Diego, Tom has addressed the idea of rejoining blink even further.

“It hit the press last week I think that–yes everybody–I will play with blink again. That’s the whole plan. I talk to Travis all the time, and I talked to Mark just the other day and we’re always discussing what makes sense and when.”

He adds, “there’s creative differences in what I do, and what my brothers in blink do. We like different things, and we like different music–but we’re still good friends and we still support each other.”

You can watch the full interview below.

We’ll be watching, waiting for this reunion to happen.
