Tom DeLonge says he will release four albums this year

Last night, Tom DeLonge took to Twitter to post a pretty ambitious statement: “I am putting out 4 albums in one year – this year.”

Due to the timing of the tweet, perhaps this was a response to Matt Skiba claiming that Blink-182 “feels like home” on the latest episode of Mark's podcast, which went live yesterday evening as well.

For starters, we know that he will be releasing To The Stars, a effort expected to contain new Blink-182 demos “along with a few extra tracks,” on April 20. In case you missed it, listen to the effort's lead single and possible former Blink-182 demo, “New World.” Two more tracks will be released before the album's official debut, with the next one coming March 23 and the third on April 6.

Nonetheless, no other concrete details have been revealed in regards to further records from DeLonge. With movies, books and more on the way, it will be interesting to see what he actually does release this year.
