Tonight Alive's Jenna McDougall intervenes with festival security to help fan—watch
During their set yesterday at Soundwave Festival in Brisbane, Australia, Tonight Alive frontwoman Jenna McDougall intervened with security as they were pinning a fan to the ground. After a few pleads, she managed to remove the guards from atop the attendee and the two shared a hug. You can watch a fan-shot video of the incident below.

Following the band's set, McDougall took to Twitter to voice her displeasure of what happened, saying, “Security are hired to protect.. Not to tackle, choke hold, push or physical assault our fans. Im extremely disappointed.” She also later added: “Having said that. I realise this abuse of power does not apply to all security & was grateful for the respect & care taken in Melb & Adel.”
What are your thoughts on festival security? Or even security in general? Do you find them generally being too rough? Or is this more of an isolated incident?
