TONY HAWK PRO SKATER

‘Tony Hawk's Pro Skater’ is getting an extreme reboot in 2020

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, the legendary skateboarding videogame, has returned. Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 1 and 2 have been remastered and retooled for maximum thrills by skate legend Tony Hawk and the Vicarious Visions studio. Sure, we’ve all heard the saying “Don’t fix what ain’t broke.” But Hawk and the Vicarious Visions team know what they’re doing. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will include all the fan-favorite features from the original franchise for both online and good ol’ couch play.  Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes have returned. This time, Create-A-Park will have massive customization options. And the remaster has upped the level of goals and challenges, bigtime. Players can share parks online with friends and outfit skaters with skill options. There’s a roll call of skating history favorites including Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Elissa Steamer and many more.

“Getting the chance to bring back the original two games which had such a meaningful impact not only on gaming, but on an entire sports genre, has been an epic experience for our team, many of whom worked on the original series,” says Vicarious Visions studio head Jen Oneal. “We’re taking what you knew and loved from the original games and mixing that with enhanced creative tools which will allow gamers to invent brand new ways to play the game they love. We’re confident it will be the ultimate Tony Hawk Pro Skater experience fans have been asking for.”
