There's a good chance a solid fraction of the people reading this got into punk-rock music through the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series' soundtracks. Remember Goldfinger's “Superman” playing in the first game? How about Rise Against's “Like The Angel” and Alkaline Trio's “Armageddon” in Tony Hawk's Underground? Maybe you remember Pierce The Veil's “I'd Rather Die Than Be Famous” in Tony Hawk's Proving Ground? Regardless, there's a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game coming out this fall, and the soundtrack features some of the latest generation of pop-punk and punk rock heroes.
