Tool, Justin Bieber feud results in "Love Your Parabola" mashup

It was only a matter of time before the beef between Tool and Justin Bieber resulted in an unexpected collab—kind of.

A mashup of the pair has surfaced on YouTube to create a track that you simply have to hear.

It all started when Bieber shared the lyrics to “The Pot” over a photo of his feet on Instagram. He asked his fans if any of them knew the song.

“If you know what the song is to the lyrics I posted write them down on my last post don’t look it up please I’m curious if any of you know it,” he said.

Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan later responded to reports of Bieber being a Tool fan with one simple reply: “#bummer”

Bieber’s wife Hailey later responded to the Tool singer’s tweet, calling it “childish” and “hurtful.”

“He expressed he was a fan of your music. Grew up listening to your music. You must be unhappy with yourself that you want to make people feel small who express their admiration for you. Very childish and hurtful thing to do. I hope u find security within yourself. Sad place to be.”

Now, DJ Cummerbund has created a mashup of Tool’s “Parabola” with Bieber and Ed Sheeran’s “Love Yourself.”

The track even has a verse from Ludacris’ 2001 hit “Area Codes.”

“It’s about time Justin Bieber and Tool squashed their beef and collaborated on a song,” the YouTube description reads. “Thankfully Ludacris was there to mediate.”

Tool are gearing up to drop their first album since that 2006 effort on August 30th.
