Touring photographer robbed at gunpoint

Jonathan Kemp, a touring photographer for bands such as Phinehas and Silent Planet, was robbed at gunpoint earlier this week while pulling into his driveway. Thankfully, he walked away unscathed. A majority of his personal belongings, however, did not. Among the items stolen included his phone, wallet, computer, camera, hard drives and his family’s car. He was planning on leaving for a brief touring this weekend.

A new update has revealed that police have found the vehicle, but it is so badly damaged that Kemp believes they’re going to deem it totaled. A handful of the items he had lost in the robbery, such as his camera and computer, were also found in the vehicle’s trunk, but they are both significantly damaged.

Additionally, the suspects are currently in police custody.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help accommodate Kemp during these trying times. At posting time, $3,130 of the $4,200 goal has been raised.
