Bo Peep returns to ‘Toy Story 4’ with badass new look

Even though Bo Peep was absent from the third Toy Story film, it seems she’s coming back for Toy Story 4 a changed woman.

In a video teaser posted by the Toy Story page, Bo Peep announces her return to the Disney/Pixar franchise with a more adventurous look.

Bo Peep returns to the picture when Woody is on a road trip with Bonnie and takes an unexpected detour. They meet again for the first time in years, realizing how much time has passed and how different they are now.

The classic character left her poofy skirt behind for a jumpsuit now that she’s living on the road and developed a more “free-spirited” personality, which differs greatly from the quiet porcelain doll of the past.

“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley said in a statement. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”

Disney also tweeted a promo poster featuring Bo, and it’s so fierce.

The anticipated Toy Story 4 was first announced back in 2015. But, along with a director switch since its initial unveiling, the previously leaked plotline has changed completely in the time moviegoers have been waiting for new adventures from the cartoon cast voiced by Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and the late Don Rickles, who played Mr. Potato Head.

According to a new synopsis, a “road trip adventure” takes place in Part 4. And it’s all instigated by the addition of Forky, an anthropomorphized non-toy plaything thrown in by Bonnie! (And voiced by none other than Arrested Development and Veep‘s Tony Hale.)
