Trace Cyrus calls out “jealous girls” after fiancé’s photo flagged

Instagram removed a picture Trace Cyrus posted, and he’s not happy about it. After having the picture deleted because it didn’t follow the platform’s community guideline, the musician went on a rant about “jealous girls.”

Oh, and he also has some advice for them.

You might know Trace Cyrus for his role as the frontman of neon pop-punk outfit Metro Station (we all know you loved “Shake It” at some point) or as the older brother of Miley and Noah Cyrus. Who knows, you might even be familiar with his solo career. Either way, you know who he is.

Cyrus recently got engaged to musician Taylor Lauren Sanders. The couple look very much in love, always gushing about each other and posting pictures together on Instagram. However, seems like one of the pictures didn’t go well with the platform’s community guidelines for nudity and pornography.

As Pop Crush notes, the image showed Cyrus choking his fiancee, and was flagged and removed from the app. He wasn’t happy about it. At all.

After the removal, Cyrus shared a screenshot of the message he got with a heated caption, criticizing “jealous girls” for flagging the image. According to the musician, if these women aren’t happy with their looks, they should do something about it, instead of complaining about other women.

Trace Cyrus’ message

“FUCK ALL U JEALOUS GIRLS REPORTiNG MY PIC OF MY BAE!!! Y r so many of u girls on social media so jealous of a beautiful woman? If you’re not happy with your looks then fucking do something about it!!!” Cyrus writes. “Go to the gym, learn to do your makeup properly, find out about fashions that fit your body type. There’s so much that can be done. But don’t go hating on my girl because she’s hot!!!”

“There was nothing wrong with the picture I had posted, he continues. “So many of u miserable girls out there fucking flagged it so it got taken down!! I believe every woman can be beautiful but JEALOUSY & lack of confidence in yourselves makes u all look disgusting. Stop hating on other girls because of the insecurities you have In yourself.”

Soon after, he took to Instagram stories to share a few more thoughts on the subject.

“I have this crazy power to say the most logical inoffensive statements ever but still manage to piss off an entire group of people,” he states. “Only because what I said reflects their negative qualities about themselves.”

“Feel free to join in on the fight I guess,” he continues.
