Travis Barker teams up with rapper 03 Greedo for joint EP

Continuing his string of hard-hitting collabs leading up to the new blink-182 album, Travis Barker announced a new split EP with rapper 03 Greedo, also sharing the first single.

“Cellout” is the first taste of Meet The Drummers, the first collab between the two. Barker has kept plenty busy with collabs as of late, recently teaming up with viral sensation Lil Nas X.

Despite the duo’s differing backgrounds, 03 Greedo says Barker “stepped into my world for this one.”

“It’s gonna shock a lot of people when they hear it,” he says. “It’s just about putting more great music out into the world. This is just a preview of the music Travis and I are about to start working on coming soon.”

The rapper was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison on gun possession and drug trafficking charges. Despite his incarceration, he’s already released an album and an EP since the verdict.

Despite the tough situation, Greedo says he and Barker’s relationship reaches far past music. Once they became comfortable, the pair struck up a fast friendship.

“Once we were done with the project and had a friendly relationship was when I really got to appreciate the moment [of working with someone I grew up a fan of],” he explains. “It trips me out still when I talk to him while I’m locked up. He checks in on how I’m doing. It blew my mind when I put him on my visiting list to come see me.”
