'True Trans With Laura Jane Grace' nominated for Emmy Award
As you may know, Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace has a web series on AOL called True Trans With Laura Jane Grace. In the incredibly inspirational series, Grace speaks to countless individuals who identify as transgender and reflects on her own experiences. In a symbol of profound respect, the documentary web series has been nominated in the New Approaches: Arts, Lifestyle, Culture category of the 36th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards.

True Trans first debuted on AOL in October 2014. On the nomination, Dermot McCormack, the President of Video at AOL studios says: “We're absolutely thrilled by this nomination, as it validates our relentless commitment to creating great content with incredible stories.
