Back in May, Tyler Joseph revealed that new twenty one pilots music will arrive sooner than anticipated. This is due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that forced the duo to cancel their upcoming shows and tours. With a clear schedule, they’ve been able to dedicate more time to writing new music.

Now, it appears that twenty one pilots might be preparing to release a follow up to their latest single “Level Of Concern” soon.

On June 10, twenty one pilots posted a photo with the code LOC-491-555-09JKL. Fans are able to enter this code on the band’s coded website to unlock “USB drive 1.” At this time, there are 19 more USB drives waiting to be unlocked by fans. Each drive has a unique code.

Once the drive is opened, a zip file is downloaded onto the computer. Featured inside USB drive 1 are a number of clues that could be hinting at a new twenty one pilots song or their upcoming album. As the “Level Of Concern” single artwork includes a photo of a USB, some fans believe that drive 1’s clues are about the recent single and not unreleased music.

One of the first items inside USB drive 1 is a one-second audio clip that says “level 1.” Along with this, there is a photo of Joseph and Josh Dun working in the studio along with a behind-the-scenes video of Dun at soundcheck and one of Joseph in front of a piano. There are also various photos that feature the symbols found on the band’s cryptic website.

Now, twenty one pilots are sharing a cryptic video to fans. On June 12, a livestream video went up on their official YouTube page. The title of the video is “1-877-LVL-CNRN” which is a phone number fans can call to potentially receive a new code to unlock another USB drive. At this time, so many fans are trying to call in that the phone line is backed up.

So far, most of the livestream video has been of a television set showing various visuals.  However, fans are able to hear a voice at the 13-minute mark. The voice says, “Welcome To Level Of Concern… want to play a game? Anxiety, confusion, excitement, anxiety, anxiety, confusion, excitement, anxiety, confusion, excitement, anxiety, confusion, excitement. You are most likely experiencing Level Of Concern. We thank you for your participation and interest.”

The “welcome to Level Of Concern” hint could mean that twenty one pilots’ next album is taking a step away from Trench‘s Dema and focusing on a new world altogether. Back in May, Joseph said he isn’t sure how the new batch of songs will tie into previous albums. However, their “Level Of Concern” lyric video featured various references to their previous albums Vessels, Blurryface and Trench.

At this time, the livestream is still live on YouTube and is available to watch below.
