Effervescent I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME frontman (and one-time Panic! At The Disco player) Dallon Weekes says he’s recorded a song with members of twenty one pilots. But will the collaboration between the “Do It All The Time” songster and the band featuring a former House Of Heroes member ever be heard by the masses?

That’s unlikely, Weekes lobs to a fan on Twitter. Asked if he’s “thinking of collab” with the TØP duo during an impromptu Q&A on Saturday, the iDKHOW showstopper reveals he’s already done it. “[B]ut I don’t think I’ll ever release it,” he notes.

But is this unheard team-up among the two camps different from Weekes’ “Sickly Sweet Holidays” single? Because, back in 2015, Weekes revealed (also via Twitter) that the pilots’ Tyler Joseph lent his voice to that special holiday release. Only, the contribution was left off the final song mix due to certain music business considerations, it would seem.

“Tyler sang an entire verse for the song originally,” Weekes replied at the time, fielding a specific inquiry as to the twenty one pilots vocalist’s rumored presence on the seasonal cut. “[B]ut music biz politics kept us from releasing that version.”

Either way, the iDKHOW singer and bassist is keeping Joseph’s contribution under wraps. Although it remains unclear if the song to which he now refers is one-in-the-same with the old Christmas track. “At this point it would feel like taking advantage of how huge their band is,” Weekes adds. “I’d rather not exploit a friend for a song I made a long time ago.”

What do you think? Is the secretive collab between the I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME leader and twenty one pilots’ Tyler Joseph truly buried for the foreseeable future? Sound off, down in the comments, with your thoughts!
