twenty one pilots featured as another ‘Jeopardy!’ question

twenty one pilots were on Jeopardy! again—sort of. The duo have continuously been used as the answer to the game show’s challenging questions, and they made their mark again this month.

Reddit user jotyma5 pointed out the find. Last week, Jeopardy! held the first game of their Teen Tournament semifinals. The three contestants breezed through the first round, making their way to Double Jeopardy where a Blurryface-inspired question awaited.

Teen contestant Claire kicked off the “On Vinyl” category by selecting the $2000 question.

“U.S. vinyl record sales rose every year from 2006 to 2016; No. 1 in 2016 was this band’s Blurryface,” host Alex Trebek reads.

Thankfully, Claire knew right away as she stated, “What it twenty one pilots?”

Run The Jewels were also an answer for this particular category. The $1200 question read, “A poll named the best vinyl cover art of 2017 as RTJ3, the third full-length release from this group.”

twenty one pilots’ previous Jeopardy questions

This isn’t the first time the band has made an appearance as a Jeopardy question. This summer, the duo appeared alongside several scene favorites as features.

On May 23’s episode of Jeopardy! a handful of our favs were featured in the gameshow’s notoriously tough questions. In addition to twenty one pilots, Sum 41, Maroon 5 and Nine Inch Nails were featured in the “Band Math” category.

Sum 41 and Maroon 5 were a part of the category’s $2000 question while twenty one pilots and Nine Inch Nails went for $800.

The band also appeared in May 2017 with a “Heathens”-inspired question.

There was also “Stressed Out” in July 2017.

And a general question in December 2017.
