Fans want twenty one pilots, Oliver Tree to collaborate

Up-and-coming indie pop artist Oliver Tree has recently expressed his desire to work with twenty one pilots.

Following a recent Instagram post depicting the musician with both of his wrists broken, a fan commented on the hip hop and indie crossover’s photo, asking him to “Please collaborate with twenty one pilots on a song.”

However, Oliver Tree’s response took many fans by storm. The artist responded to the comment saying, “Please have them hit me up.”

The Instagram post in question related Oliver Tree’s song “Hurt” to “the worst summer of [his] life.” Allegedly, the musician broke both wrists and thumb in a scooter crash.

While there are no concrete plans for the pair to actually collaborate, Oliver Tree is on Atlantic Records. twenty one pilots’ Trench was put out by Fueled By Ramen, which is a part of Atlantic. That said, if the label is up for a it, a collaboration could make sense.

In other twenty one pilots-related news, the duo have announced that they are working on a forthcoming LP. In an interview with NME, Tyler Joseph reveals that he wrote most of it in his Columbus basement.

“There’s a character that hasn’t been talked about that plays a huge role and that’s probably where we’re going next,” Joseph said about the next record.
