twenty one pilots fans are trying to get every song on ‘Vessel’ certified Gold

twenty one pilots fans are gearing up to make the duo the first band in history to have every single song on a record certified Gold twice. However, just two songs on the band’s 2012 record stand in their way: “Fake You Out” and “Truce.”

twenty one pilots were the first band in history to have every single song on an album certified Gold, platinum or multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. While Blurryface reached a massive milestone, the clique want Vessel to be held in the same regard.

In an effort to make every song on Vessel certified Gold or above, a group of Redditors have started the Fake You Out Project. The effort urges fans to do a multitude of different actions in order to promote the song. You can check out what the Fake You Out Project calls for below.

If we get Fake You Out enough streams we can make it Gold certified and make Twenty One Pilots the first band in history with two albums every single song gold certified! LETS GO!!! from r/twentyonepilots

While the idea seems great in theory, “Fake You Out” is not the only song on Vessel that is missing a RIAA Gold certification. However, according to other Reddit users, the clique will work on “Truce” getting bumped to Gold after the complete their mission with “Fake You Out.”
