Twenty One Pilots’ "Heathens" breaks record for most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock Songs chart

Twenty One Pilots’ “Heathens” is continuing to break records. Billboard has reported that the song has spent 28 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Rock Songs chart, breaking the record previously held by Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance.”

The band has spent a combined 60 weeks atop the Hot Rock Songs chart, with “Stressed Out” leading the chart for 23 weeks and “Ride” ruling for nine.

In addition to this record-breaking announcement, Twenty One Pilots were nominated for five Grammy Awards, including best rock song for “Heathens,” and the pair took home the award for best pop duo/group performance for “Stressed Out”—and happened to accept the award pants-less.
