Twitter reportedly rethinking 140-character limit
According to a report from Re/code, Twitter is entertaining the concept of allotting users more than 140 characters per tweet. The company is supposedly formulating a product that will “enable Twitter users to publish long-form content to the service.”
Jason Del Ray, the reporter who ran the story, tweeted the following for additional clarification: “Not saying 140-character limit is kaput. Reporting that Twitter will let users display more content beyond that limit.”
