The Umbrella Academy is based off of comics written by the former My Chemical Romance frontman. Back in July 2017, we caught wind that The Umbrella Academy could potentially be getting a Netflix adaptation. A few days later, Way confirmed the series was headed to Netflix.

Other artists included on the album are Queen, the Doors, They Might Be Giants, Radiohead and many more. You can listen to the whole thing for yourself on repeat below.

So, Ellen Page will play Vanya, the black sheep of her dysfunctional family of superheroes, known as the Umbrella Academy. The rest of the dysfunctional family include Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Vanya (Page), Klaus (Robert Sheehan) and Number Five (Aidan Gallagher). The story follows the family as they “work together to solve their father’s mysterious death while coming apart at the seams due to their divergent personalities and abilities.”

Also, Steve Blackman will take the executive producer role, with Jeremy Slater writing the pilot script. Way will serve as co-executive producer, Deadline explains. The series has also been confirmed for 10 episodes.
