The news comes from an interview with creator Orian Williams on SiriusXM Entertainment, which you can listen to below.

Reports have indicated that Jack Lowden and Jessica Brown Findlay have been cast as Morrissey and Linder Sterling, respectively.

Williams confirms the film will end with Morrissey meeting Johnny Marr—thereby also confirming it will focus on the singer's youth. Marr is, of course, the Smiths' guitarist and Morrissey's fellow songwriter.
