Underoath's Tim McTague launches campaign to aid in father's cancer battle

Underoath guitarist Tim McTague has launched a funding campaign to aid with the medical expenses procured by his father’s recent cancer treatments. 

Earlier this year, Gary McTague was diagnosed with rapidly growing bladder cancer. Since then, he has undergone chemotherapy treatment and an extensive surgery. While tests have all come back clear thus far, the McTague family’s financial battle is only beginning. 

As Tim mentions in the campaign’s description, his parents played an incredibly significant role in Underoath’s early years—so much so, in fact, that if it weren’t for them, Underoath wouldn’t be the band they are today. Notable portions of the band’s material that we’ve all grown to love with the utmost adoration were written within the McTague household.
