Upon A Burning Body vocalist: “What publicity stunt?”
Last week, Texas metalcore act Upon A Burning Body pulled a publicity stunt where they falsely alarmed fans that their singer, Danny Leal, was missing. After being publicly condemned by their label, Sumerian Records, the band remained quiet about the whole incident—but did still manage to release two new singles and announce a new album.
In a recent video interview at Mayhem Festival (which you can watch below), when asked about the stunt, the UABB singer simply shrugs off the question and asks, “What publicity stunt?” He continues, “Everybody keeps asking me about that. I don’t know what they’re talking about.” Well, that pretty much rules out any sort of public apology from the band. Check out the interview below, and let us know your thoughts.
