More Vans

Vans are making sure to get your Nightmare Before Christmas with their latest addition to the classic Tim Burton film inspired shoe line.

The 1993 stop-motion animated film became an instant classic with help from songs such as “What’s This?” and  “This Is Halloween.” The latter has been revised by multiple artists, including Panic! At The Disco and Marilyn Manson.

The latest addition to the Vans The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection is appropriately named Christmas Town. They take the imagery from the scene where Jack Skellington comes across the Holiday Doors while singing “What’s This?”

The Vans original hi-top model is drenched in red and black suede, with navy side panels and white stitching. Mr. Skelltington can be seen holding Christmas lights on one side in the pouring snow after falling into the Christmas Town door. On the other side, Skellington shares a magical moment with a snowman as snow continues to fall on the both of them.

The Christmas tree that is found on the entrance to Christmas Town in the circle of Holiday doors is plastered on the back of the shoe. Gold eyelets finish off the front, with striped laces that resemble the giant snake Skellington leaves as a Christmas present while impersonating Santa Clause.

The newest addition to the Vans Nightmare Before Christmas collection released a few days ago. You can find them in adult or toddler sizes at select retailers or online.
