Vans House Parties are happening again to celebrate 50th anniversary

If you haven't already heard, one of the scene's most beloved brands, Vans, is turning 50. As part of a year long celebration, Vans is bringing back Vans House Parties, a House of Vans summer series. These parties will host musicians and visual artists, all honing in on New York City’s punk, hardcore and hip hop heritage alongside Vans’ one-of-a-kind culture.

Visual art will come from Ken Farmer, who created a special light installation, WANE ONE and Stash, who contributed graffitti installations, Scott Ewalt, who made a massive collage using vintage NYC punk flyers, and Bayeté Ross Smith, who offered a fully functioning boombox wall commemorating ‘80s hip hop and street culture.

You can RSVP to these free events in Greenpoint, New York here.
