The label, which got its start back in 1958, is owned by Warner Music Group.

They also made a pretty cool announcement video which is featured on the company’s updated Twitter account.

“The timing couldn’t be better, since we all feel the label is at a moment of reinvention that builds on our legacy, while moving into a future driven by fearlessness and creativity,” U.S. Co-Chairmen and CEO and COO Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson said in a statement. “It’s a new day for Warner Records, an iconic label that was born in the California sun, and is at home everywhere on Earth.”
The label is home to several artists including Gerard Way, Linkin Park, Sleeping With Sirens, Green Day and many more.
The label also revamped its website completely to go along with the new name and look of the brand.
