Warped Tour answers questions regarding 25th anniversary shows
We’re a few weeks removed from Warped Tour announcing the cities and venues for their 25th anniversary shows, and fans certainly have plenty of questions.
The festival took to Twitter the day of the announcement to address these inquiries, but now they’re clarifying some things even further.

The 25th anniversary shows will be hitting Cleveland, Ohio; Atlantic City, New Jersey and Mountain View, California. The latter two cities will have two dates each, lending to more of a two-day festival vibe while Cleveland will be a more intimate one-day gig.
The festival laid out the most common ones on social media, offering up more of an explanation for each:
What bands are playing?
Each event will have its own lineup! There will be some overlap between the bands playing, but they will be different. Within a single event, the bands will either play Saturday or Sunday, no both.
How do I get presale tickets?
A code for presale tickets will be sent to all of our fans who have subscribed to our email or text database.
How much are tickets? Do I need a ticket for each day?
For Atlantic City and Mountain View, you will be able to purchase 2-day passes/tickets for one price (approx $150). For Cleveland, that show is just one day and tickets will be priced at around a typical Warped Tour ticket (approx $50).

More Warped Tour information
As mentioned above, the festival took to Twitter shortly after the location announcements to reveal more info. You can read those answers below.
Locations and set-up
“Mountain View & Atlantic City will be same Warped Tour vibe, multiple stages, extreme sports, sponsor activations, non profits, etc.,” the festival account says. “Cleveland will be scaled back since it’s a more limited / intimate event – it will be outdoors and have a Warped feel, but with 1 stage.”

Atlantic City’s two-day stop will actually be on the beach.
yup – it’s straight up on the beach
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
it’s literally ON the beach
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
Cleveland’s show will be outside of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
It will be an outside show on the grounds of the Rock Hall – it will be smaller than the other events but it will still have that Warped Tour feel
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
they have an outside area that has had events before! AP did a special pre-APMA fan day event there
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
The Rock Hall’s “Forever Warped: 25 Years of Vans Warped Tour” exhibit will begin June 8.
it starts the day of the event on June 8, but it will run through August

Ticket prices and presale
There will also be a price increase, with the tour expecting tickets to run $125 to $150.
yes the price will be higher than the regular tour, but still very reasonable relative to other festivals. We are looking at the $125-$150 range
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
However, Cleveland will be a bit cheaper due to being a one-day event, and more info will be released closer to the on-sale date.
yes – ticket pricing and more details on all of that will be announced closer to when tickets go on sale
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
There won’t be a free parent ticket option like past shows.
Unfortunately, we will not be doing the parents get in for free program with these events. It would simply be too complicated since so many of our fans are older and have kids / teenagers

Presale codes will be sent out via their newsletter, and you can sign-up here.

Artist lineup
The lineup will vary between cities and days, but there could be some overlap.
per day AND per city….some bands will overlap between the cities, but they will be different overall

— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
completely different lineups!
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
Cleveland will have “probably five bands” performing on the one stage throughout the day.
it won’t be like the other two events, it will be a smaller event with probably 5 bands on a stage throughout the day.
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
But we shouldn’t worry that less bands means a lesser lineup.
yes it will be smaller, but those 5 bands could be some pretty big names! Last time we did an exhibit opening show at the Rock Hall we had Pennywise, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, and Paramore
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
The artists’ set times will vary as opposed to the festival’s typical 30-minute set.
it will flex depending on the stage and band probably 25-45min depending
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
The lineup is still being booked.
we would, but it’s not done being booked yet ?
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
Plans past 2019
No other dates will be added, and this will be different than the shows fans have attended in the past.
unfortunately no – these are the final dates
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
because last year was the final tour – these are 3 special events. we cannot have the same type event with the same level of artists if we do a tour or cities…that’s how festivals work
— Vans Warped Tour (@VansWarpedTour) January 28, 2019
This is also looking to be a one-time event, and they have no plans to continue it past 2019.
as of now – this is a 1 time thing
we have no plans to continue Warped events after the 25th anniversary celebration
