Warped Tour answers questions regarding 25th anniversary shows

We’re a few weeks removed from Warped Tour announcing the cities and venues for their 25th anniversary shows, and fans certainly have plenty of questions.

The festival took to Twitter the day of the announcement to address these inquiries, but now they’re clarifying some things even further.

The 25th anniversary shows will be hitting Cleveland, Ohio; Atlantic City, New Jersey and Mountain View, California. The latter two cities will have two dates each, lending to more of a two-day festival vibe while Cleveland will be a more intimate one-day gig.

The festival laid out the most common ones on social media, offering up more of an explanation for each:

What bands are playing?
Each event will have its own lineup! There will be some overlap between the bands playing, but they will be different. Within a single event, the bands will either play Saturday or Sunday, no both.

How do I get presale tickets?
A code for presale tickets will be sent to all of our fans who have subscribed to our email or text database.

How much are tickets? Do I need a ticket for each day?
For Atlantic City and Mountain View, you will be able to purchase 2-day passes/tickets for one price (approx $150). For Cleveland, that show is just one day and tickets will be priced at around a typical Warped Tour ticket (approx $50).

The lineup and tickets will be revealed and go on sale respectively March 1. Presale tickets will also be available beginning Feb. 25. Check out the cities below.

Dates:

06/08 – Cleveland, OH @ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
06/29 – Atlantic City, NJ @ Atlantic City Beach
06/30 – Atlantic City, NJ @ Atlantic City Beach
07/20 – Mountain View, CA @ Shoreline Amphitheatre
07/21 – Mountain View, CA @ Shoreline Amphitheatre

More Warped Tour information

As mentioned above, the festival took to Twitter shortly after the location announcements to reveal more info. You can read those answers below.

Locations and set-up

“Mountain View & Atlantic City will be same Warped Tour vibe, multiple stages, extreme sports, sponsor activations, non profits, etc.,” the festival account says. “Cleveland will be scaled back since it’s a more limited / intimate event – it will be outdoors and have a Warped feel, but with 1 stage.”

Atlantic City’s two-day stop will actually be on the beach.

Cleveland’s show will be outside of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

The Rock Hall’s “Forever Warped: 25 Years of Vans Warped Tour” exhibit will begin June 8.

Ticket prices and presale

There will also be a price increase, with the tour expecting tickets to run $125 to $150.

However, Cleveland will be a bit cheaper due to being a one-day event, and more info will be released closer to the on-sale date.

There won’t be a free parent ticket option like past shows.

Presale codes will be sent out via their newsletter, and you can sign-up here.

Artist lineup

The lineup will vary between cities and days, but there could be some overlap.

Cleveland will have “probably five bands” performing on the one stage throughout the day.

But we shouldn’t worry that less bands means a lesser lineup.

The artists’ set times will vary as opposed to the festival’s typical 30-minute set.

The lineup is still being booked.

Plans past 2019

No other dates will be added, and this will be different than the shows fans have attended in the past.

This is also looking to be a one-time event, and they have no plans to continue it past 2019.
