Watch a bizarre interview with Gerard Way from space

As the release of Gerard Way’s debut solo album approaches, the singer/songwriter is having fun in his fictionalized (but actually quite telling) Pink Station Zero interview. The setting is oddly retro, yet definitely in the future. Way answers questions about touring in space and dives into the meaning of his album, Hesitant Alien.

His exchange with Pink Station Zero “host” Adam Papagan is hilariously awkward. Watch the full interview below, and let us know your thoughts.

G. Way's debut album Hesitant Alien is set for release September 30 via Warner Bros. During the Gerard Way And The Hormones set at Reading Festival, the band played a large portion of the album, and you can hear it all (plus a cover of The Jesus And Mary Chain's “Snakedriver”) on AltPress.
