Watch Brand New’s guitarist relentlessly smash his guitar amp before storming offstage

Some great footage has surfaced of Brand New performing a full set at the Bell House in Brooklyn, New York on December 22. The band performed a prime set, including classic tracks like “Seventy Times 7,” “Sic Transit Gloria,” “Sowing Season” and many more.

At one point in the performance (skip to the 1:50:07 mark), lead guitarist Vincent Accardi decides to absolutely demolish his amp, using his guitar as a sledgehammer. He doesn’t stop; he just relentlessly mauls the thing for the remainder of the song, before knocking over another amp (or assorted piece of gear) and storming off stage.
