Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional opens the 2016 APMAs

“Please rise for your national anthem,” we announced as the 2016 APMAs began. To honor our magazine's history and the artists who were the turning point for our becoming who we are now, we invited modern emo legend Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional to serenade us into our third annual awards ceremony. 

Dashboard Confessional performed “Hand’s Down.” The song was originally recorded the acoustic EP, So Impossible, but was then re-recorded and put on the 2003 LP,  A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar.
