Watch Misfits reunite for first time in over 30 years at Riot Fest

For the first time in over 30 years, original Misfits singer/songwriter Glenn Danzig, original bassist Jerry Only and long-time guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein reunited onstage at Riot Fest Denver this weekend.

Dubbed the Original Misfits, they were joined by ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo for their reunion shows, which also include Riot Fest Chicago on Sept. 18.

In an interview with AP when the reunion was announced, Riot Fest Founder Mike Petryshyn said the timing was right. “It doesn't matter if it's a reunion band or a band that's been active for a decade, there's a process with all of it, a comfort level, questions to answer and all of that stuff,” he shared. “To be honest with you, it was pretty natural and organic. Once the conversation started, there was never a sense that this was going to go away.”
