Watch the first teaser for Star Wars spinoff film, 'Rogue One'

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars standalone film, Star Wars: Rogue One, debuted today at Celebration. According to the official Star Wars Twitter account, the film will be about “a band of resistance fighters [who] unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans.”

It will be the first Star Wars live-action film that isn't an “episode” and the first one without Jedi. It will take place between Episodes III and IV. Watch fan-shot footage of the teaser below, which marks the Death Star's return to the big screen. We will update this post when the official one is released online.
