Watch the first teaser trailer for 'Breaking Bad' spinoff 'Better Call Saul'

After months of chatter, Breaking Bad fans got their first glimpse at the series' spinoff, Better Call Saul. Over the weekend, AMC debuted a short teaser trailer for the show. In the clip, Saul (Bob Odenkirk) says, “Lawyers, we’re like health insurance. You hope you never need it, but man oh man, not having it? No.” The clip ends with a premiere date of February 2015.

Originally, the show was thought to be a prequel to Saul's life before he became the lawyer for Walter White, but in November Odenkirk told IGN, “Well, I’ve talked to Vince [Gilligan] and Peter [Gould], who are writing and creating the series, about this and I’ve said that a lot of people do want to see what happens to next to Saul. So, I don’t know what they’re going to do. I know they’ve talked about prequel, but they’ve also talked to me about sequel, and they’ve also talked to me about a mix of prequel and sequel.”

No word yet on whether or not Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul will make cameos in the series, but Cranston will be on set—in the director's chair. “I’m looking forward to going down there next year and directing an episode, though,” he told The Daily Beast earlier this month. “It’s family. They’ve got the same crew, and it’s exciting to think that we can rekindle that flame; that it’s still alive.”
