Wild Cub are the latest artist to take part in the A.V. Club's “Undercover” series, in which bands are presented with a list of cover song choices, which are gradually crossed off one by one as they're played, leaving later acts with a more limited selection.

For their turn, Wild Cub opted to tackle “Crazy In Love,” the single which first brought pop star Beyoncé to prominence as a solo artist. Though they maintain the song's basic pop feel, the Nashville rockers reimagine the track with their own minimalist synth rock impulses.
