Waterparks break personal streaming record with “Turbulent” in two days

Waterparks just dropped their newest song “Turbulent” and apparently, it’s one of their most successful tracks.

The band tweeted that the song beat their own personal streaming record in just two days.

YO I JUST HEARD TURBULENT DID MORE THAN HALF A MILLION STREAMS IN 2 DAYS, IM LEGIT A LITTLE EMOTIONAL, THAT’S A RECORD FOR US, THANK YOU. KEEP LISTENING,” the band said in a tweet.

The band recently just performed the track live for the first time at an appearance at UK festival Slam Dunk today and fans went absolutely wild when they performed the new track.

Prior to taking the stage, the band posted a tweet announcing their merch sold out insanely fast.

Some fans also noticed the band made a hilarious poster urging fans to listen to the new single in the best way possible.

“Turbulent” dropped after what felt like an eternity of cryptic teasers and caps-locked tweets. Waterparks also announced with the drop that they are now signed to Hopeless Records.

On May 21, the band shared news of a new record deal.

The band also switched over their socials to green-themed photos to go with the new green era.
