The bands are revealing the collaboration today (May 14) and the details for both portions.

Musically, We Came As Romans are reworking “Carry The Weight” with Fit For A King frontman Ryan Kirby. FFAK are offering up a version of “Backbreaker” featuring WCAR’s Dave Stephens.

Both bands made posts revealing the details for the collaborations and their intentions in doing them. We Came As Romans say the link for the merch is being posted tomorrow (May 15) at 12 PM ET.

“One of the things we love about touring is that we get to work with some of our favorite bands – we miss that, and wanted to create something that allows us to work with some of our favorite bands, and gives all of you a cool experience.

We’re stoked to be releasing a new version of “Carry The Weight” featuring Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King – a band we consider close friends, but have not had the pleasure of touring with yet. They will be releasing a new version of “Backbreaker,” off of their last album “Dark Skies” featuring our own Dave Stephens.

Both songs drop on 5/29 – we have an exclusive collab merchline available this weekend only, and all orders will include digital downloads of the songs when they drop –

The merch goes live at 12pm EST tomorrow. Link to the merch will be posted at 12 with the official collab merch line.”
