We Came As Romans reveal ‘To Plant A Seed’ 10-year anniversary tour

We Came As Romans celebrated the 10-year anniversary of debut album To Plant A Seed earlier this month, and they’re continuing the festivities into the new year.

The band announced they’ll be hitting the road this spring in honor of the record with support from the Devil Wears Prada, Gideon and Dayseeker.

The band—vocalist Dave Stephens, bassist Andy Glass, guitarists Joshua Moore and Lou Cotton and drummer David Puckett—opened up on the album’s impact and excitement of seeing fans connect with it over the past 10 years.

“We’re really excited to announce the 10-year anniversary tour for our first record To Plant A Seed,” Moore says. “Being able to watch our fans connect with us through music over the last decade has been an amazing privilege, and it all started with To Plant A Seed. Way back in 2009 when we recorded it, we had no idea where it would take us or what we were really even doing, and it’s awesome to see that we can play these songs still, and feel that connection with you.”

However, Moore also states that this will be the final time the band plays it in full as they prepare for the next chapter—one launched with their first new music, “Carry The Weight” and “From The First Note,” without the late Kyle Pavone this fall.

“But over the course of 10 years, we’ve released four other albums and we’re even working on a fifth!” he says. “With that being said, we are going to be throwing these songs into the vault of old WCAR—and retiring them from all future setlists after this tour. So make sure you grab your tickets and come hear these songs one last time live.”

The band is offering two VIP packages. Bronze VIP includes early entry, one general admission ticket and a meet and greet and photo-op with the band. It also features an exclusive To Plant A Seed-themed shirt and silkscreen poster as well as a souvenir laminate with lanyard.

Gold VIP includes early entry, one general admission ticket and a meet and greet and photo-op with the band. It also features 15% off the online merch store, an exclusive To Plant A Seed-themed crewneck, shirt and silkscreen poster as well as a souvenir laminate with lanyard.
