We Came As Romans reveal tour exclusive 'To Plant A Seed' merch

We Came As Romans are kicking off their 10-year anniversary tour for their record To Plant A Seed in just a few weeks and they’re revealing some exclusive tour merch designs today.

The band took to Twitter to reveal three exclusive t-shirt designs that will only be available on this tour and are designed by bassist Andy Glass.

They announced back in November that they would be playing the album in its entirety with support on the tour coming from the Devil Wears PradaGideon and Dayseeker.

Guitarist Joshua Moore opened up at the time about the album’s impact and excitement of seeing fans connect with it over the past 10 years.

“We’re really excited to announce the 10-year anniversary tour for our first record To Plant A Seed,” Moore says. “Being able to watch our fans connect with us through music over the last decade has been an amazing privilege, and it all started with To Plant A Seed. Way back in 2009 when we recorded it, we had no idea where it would take us or what we were really even doing, and it’s awesome to see that we can play these songs still, and feel that connection with you.”

Moore also says this will be the final time the band plays these songs live as they prepare for the next chapter—one launched with their first new music, “Carry The Weight” and “From The First Note,” without the late Kyle Pavone this fall.

We Came As Romans further explained the reasoning why they don’t intend to play these songs live ever again at the beginning of this month.

“We’re currently writing our sixth studio album and we have so many songs. If we’re not headlining the tour, we’re playing for 30 or 40 minutes. How do you choose which songs to play out of 75 songs?” says Moore.

“Of course, we want to play our most recent stuff because it’s new and it’s exciting and it’s hard to open that slot and the setlist when I’m stuck playing To Plant a Seed that is 10 years old and I’ve played it a million times. To us, it’s just about moving forward and celebrating the newer songs that we have put out — they’re easier for us to connect to as a band.”
