Wearing dark clothing makes you appear more attractive, intelligent and confident, study says

Other than the expected comments at family gatherings encouraging you to “liven up your wardrobe,” darker clothing is virtually void of caveats. It goes with literally anything, and it’s appropriate for any occasion imaginable. 

As if you needed more justification, a new study from Buytshirtsonline—an online supplier of wholesale clothing from brands such as Fruit Of The Loom, Gildan and American Apparel—has confirmed that wearing your gloomy garments makes you appear more attractive, intelligent and confident, (via Complex).

The study, which surveyed over 1,000 people, aimed to uncover which clothing colors are most associated with certain qualities. While black came out at the top of nearly every category, red was the color tied closest to arrogance and only five percent of responders claimed intelligent people wear pink.
