Weezer open shows with a barbershop quartet version of “Buddy Holly”

Weezer are currently on tour across North America, and apparently they are opening up their shows in quite a creative way.

Before the tour started, the band did a rendition of “Buddy Holly” as a barbershop quartet on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. Now, apparently they’re starting up each tour set the same way.

Weezer has already performed the first two shows of tour in Louisville, KY and Columbia, SC. Fans who went to both shows are saying that the band has opened the show with the barbershop bit, which is pretty amazing.

You can check out a video from the Columbia show of the “Buddy Holly” opener below.

On March 1, Weezer dropped their self-titled, thirteenth studio album (also known as The Black Album) after premiering it on Fortnite.
