Could a Weezer and Post Malone collaboration happen?

We love a good collab, and it looks like a Weezer + Post Malone collaboration could certainly be a possibility.

In a recent interview with NME, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo says that he’s been listening to quite a bit of music from the rapper.

“I listen mostly to modern music,” Cuomo said. “If I’m just hanging out listening to music, I’m listening to Spotify and curated playlists – someone like Post Malone.”

When talking further about their meet-up earlier this year, Cuomo says that he’d love to work with him, noting his positivity and creative spirit.

“I’d love to work with him,” Cuomo said. “In fact, I think we are fans of each other’s music… He’s in a great zone right now. I’d absolutely be open to working together.”

Post Malone's metalcore upbringing and love for alt rock has been well documented, making this a match made in music heaven.

And there we have it: A collaboration of epic proportions that we are crossing our fingers for.
