As Lifehacker reports, the weMessage team has figured out how to bring Apple’s messaging service to life for Android users. The tech site says the app can handle “one-on-one conversations and group chats, send attachments, create those special iMessage effects and even supports Read Receipts.”

Incredible.

There's even a video that shows you exactly how the app works and what messaging looks like for non-iPhone users:

However, there is one catch: To use weMessage, you need a Mac computer to set it up and make it work.

And, as Lifehacker explains, it's likely Apple won't be too happy with the app… So we'll have to see how long it stays alive.

But if you want to give it a try, you can download it here. It might just change the texting game.
